Dr Charles Levinson recognised for his assistance in compiling “Britain’s Top 250 Consultants by Speciality” for the Tatler Doctors Guide 2013.

Dr Charles Levinson is the founder and CEO of Doctorcall at 121 Harley Street. Dr Levinson started the first private visiting service in London in 1989, offering home visits 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Doctorcall now provides the largest private visiting doctor service of its kind in the UK. Dr Levinson is recognised as being a leading innovator within the independent sector and in addition to providing the first visiting doctor service in London, he is an expert on flu pandemics and was the first to provide a large-scale flu vaccination programme outside the NHS. Doctorcall was also the first to offer health screening by questionnaire for companies.

He has pioneered the use of protocols in healthcare delivery and has been an early exponent of the new methods of communication within healthcare. Dr Charles Levinson was approached by the Tatler Doctors Guide, now in its fourth edition, and asked to join the panel Britain’s top GPs, respected physicians and top-of-their-tree surgeons, and assist in its completion. It has now become is a highly respected guide to Britain’s top 250 consultants by speciality.
