Sir Fitzroy Hamilton Niall Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, 1st Baronet (5 July 1872 – 29 September 1957), born FitzRoy Hamilton Niall Lloyd-Anstruther, was an English baronet.

Family

He was the son of Robert Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther (21 April 1841 – 24 July 1914) and wife (m. London, 5 July 1871) Gertrude Louisa Georgina FitzRoy (London, 9 December 1850 – 17 July 1923), daughter of Francis Horatio FitzRoy (London, 6 June 1823 - Frogmore Park, 20 March 1900) and wife (m. London, 27 November 1849) The Hon. Gertrude Duncombe (Duncombe Park, 4 April 1827 - Frogmore Park, 24 February 1916).[1] His paternal grandparents were James Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther (1806 - 1882) and wife (m. 1838) Georgiana Charlotte Burrell (1811 - 1843).
He had a brother Reginald, who died in 1875, and a sister Rosalind Gertrude, who died on 2 June 1903, wife of Brigadier General Noel Armar Lowry-Corry (25 November 1867 – 23 August 1935), by whom she had issue.

Life

On 7 November 1910 he changed his name to FitzRoy Hamilton Niall Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, dropping Lloyd and adding his wife's surnames. He served as a Lieutenant in the Army Motor Reserve prior to World War I and was appointed an ADC on the General Staff in September 1915, ending the war as a Captain. He was created a Baronet on 1 July 1929.

On 11 October 1898 then FitzRoy Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther married The Hon. Rachel Gough-Calthorpe (11 October 1871 – 25 May 1951), daughter of the 6th Baron Calthorpe and Maud Augusta Louisa Duncombe. They had issue:

Frances Jean Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe (b. 29 June 1910), married on 13 September 1942 to Frank Alleyne Stockdale, and had issue
Barbara Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe (24 October 1911 - 30 December 2006), married on 4 February 1932 to Ian St John Lawson-Johnston, 2nd Baron Luke, and had issue
